The Queen was recently spotted while on a whirlwind tour of a the United Kingdom.
She was accompanied by the Irish ambassador.
(And was openly jealous of the Irish lass’s locks.)
The entourage was greeted with a celebration featuring traditional Irish dance,
dined on fine Irish fare
and were introduced to some of the more ‘special’ subjects in the Kingdom.
Earlier in the week, the queen was escorted in disguise to a much-awaited fifth performance by her Royal Court Minstrels, Parachute.
She was also presented with a hand-crafted desk for her Royal Study.
(Thanks, Royal Carpenter…)
Loyal Subjects,
A fortunate queen I am, indeed, to have such loyal (and lovely) subjects. Few queens (of the many, many currently reigning) could boast of such bounteous beauty and sacrifice on the part of her people. And so it is that I extend my deepest thanks and fondest regards for the time you expended on my behalf, the creative energy exhausted and thoughtful gestures given. It is, truly, a blessing to have you in my POWER.
Elizabeth R.
(This is the only time I’ll say it was a good thing we weren’t in England—spending the rest of my life locked in the Tower for impersonating the queen doesn’t seem like a great way to celebrate 33.)
