It began as any other Disneyland trip. Year six—anticipation still high, frivolity running rampant. But then! Jake received a phone call from Disney headquarters—yes! Headquarters! Diamond Days winner? WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!
It meant…Aaron came into our lives, at least for eight hours. And in those eight hours, he fille dour minds with Disney knowledge and trivia, got us to the front of every line, and enchanted us with his Disney employee magic. Both parks, eight hours, every ride, plus front row seats to World of Color.
Diamond Days indeed!
Riding a high, we traveled into the dreary wilderness of California to Joshu Tree National Park, which, turns out, wasn’t dreary at all (though it definitely left its mark on two of our family members….).
