Ever been to a theme park in 40 degree weather?
I have. Oh yeah—that’s right. In Florida. Believe it. There is picture proof to follow.
Florida was fabulous, albeit a bit tornadic, a little hurricane-ish, and…a little blizzard-y. I’m serious. It all happened.
Come along with us, but first, you should probably learn the Florida 2016 lingo:
Backup plan: A designation earned after eight years of vacation….and that’s where we’ll leave it….
Birthing hunger babies: Slow starvation from grueling vacation schedules ![]()
*symptoms include hunger pains every 30 seconds, mouth dilated to a ten
Alligator migratory patterns thesis: Christopher’s life’s work
Holy cow of the sea: common exclamation of surprise or awe
“You don’t have to like it. No one axed you.”: A phrase to be used whenever possible, not only when discussing the merits of frozen, dark chocolate M&Ms with the Publix cashier
Moroccan: official language of soccer
Isaam: Chrisotpher’s new, hard-earned Moroccan BFFL
36 hours: Number of hours we almost spent driving from Palm Beach, Florida, to home when our flight was delayd twice, then cancelled twice in Atlanta after four hours on the tarmac. A number that can be used to express one’s intens—and very rare--desire to be home after vacation.
