Birth Week: Thirty to the Four

Getting older seems more like an adventure when one is surrounded by great friends, great family and a pretty great husband with some pretty great surprises.

Oh, and yes—some pretty great indulgences to my Anglophilia that grows with each passing year. :)

The Surprises by Great Husband (which included, but were not limited to, being whisked away at 2 p.m., taken to a long-awaited movie, then a pretty great dinner at Mazza, an excursion to The King’s English, which is always more than pretty great,  and to another anticipated movie where we were joined by pretty great friends. Phew. See? Pretty great, huh?)

34 is looking…(fill in the blank, but might I suggest…pretty great?).

Once upon a time, it was Fall

and a group of friends went to Brian Head for--

Oh, wait…no, I guess it was Winter.

Okay, so once upon a time it was Winter

and a group of friends--

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Nope….nope….it’s Fall.

Definitely Fall.

Okay, so FALL. Let’s think Fall and (lots of) friends

 

and- Fall Break at Brian Head (even though it looked like it might be Christmas break),

with a trip to Bryce Canyon (which was nice and unseasonably warm) and…

Is anyone else besides Mother Nature and me confused?
