Whose face will be worthy of the coveted
Christmas Face
title this year?
The contestants had all year to hone their expressions to an emotional excellence.
New to the competition this year was the use of props,
so let’s see what the contestants came up with.
We’ve got the Two-Second Get it Over With Squint,
and the Who is Responsible for This Perfection? face.
Here’s the You Shouldn’t Have, always a classic.
Childlike Jubilation is a consistent favorite among judges
as is the You Better Not Have face.
The No Way face amps up the competition
though it’s hard to beat the Songs of Praise face.
The I Am So Darn Happy face is a sure-bet crowd pleaser
and everyone loves a good You’re Not as Sneaky as You Think You Are face.
There’s always an Oh Man—I Should Not Have Mentioned that in Passing face
as well as the ever-popular Thanking the Heavens
and a Prayer for the Perfect Present face, tying up the Religious Christmas Face category.
Tickled Pink is very convincing this year
as is Is That Really What’s in the Box?
A new addition this year is the Interpretive Christmas Face, which, if looked at from various angles and in varying speeds, can take on many forms of excitement and glee.
It’s obvious that the competition was fierce this year, but in the end, the
Christmas Face 2011 title goes to:
Who Says the Devil Doesn’t Like Christmas Presents?
face.
Congrats, Dave!
That’s a very convincing interpretation.

With such an intense rivalry, the Post Competition Wind-Down found many relieved,
others feeling brotherly love, one towards another.
Some sought rest,
while others drowned their anxieties and waning adrenaline in 7-Up spiked eggnog, while debating the fairness of the outcome.
Practice for
Christmas Face 2012
begins…NOW!
