We should be playing laser tag right now…
and hanging at the park.
We should visit the caterpillars on the Caterpillar Tree
and get ‘some bulk without the bulk’.
We should play tennis
(or not)
and definitely swim in the 45 degree weather.
We should make ourselves comfortable
and eat ice cream
(and candy and soda)
or share oranges.
We should play school, hide-and-seek
and ‘Midget Chasing’ (not my words—theirs)
and use our hard-earned and very masculine magic wands.
We should definitely ride the carousel
and remember to bring our umbrellas.
We should have a great time and definitely, definitely, DEFINITELY, we should be hugging.
